History & Significance
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD) is an Indian spiritual and humanitarian organization headquartered in Dharampur, Gujarat. Founded in 1994 by Rakesh Jhaveri, the organization is based on the teachings of Shrimad Rajchandra, a 19th-century Jain philosopher and mystic. SRMD operates through more than 200 centres across six continents. Its activities include spiritual programmes and charitable initiatives through Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.
