DivyaYatra is a sourced temple discovery and pilgrimage planning directory. It is built as a public, readable reference: every listing links its facts back to the sources they come from, and external links are labelled by type so you always know what you are opening.
What is in the directory
As of the latest directory update the site lists 178 temples and sacred sites across 24 countries, spanning Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, Shinto and heritage listings. Each temple page records its location, the deity or divine aspect it honours, the festivals it celebrates, the pilgrimage circuits it belongs to and, where available, its official website and sourced coordinates.
Why it is structured the way it is
The directory is organised so you can move naturally between related things: a temple links to its deity, its festivals and its circuits, while deities, festivals and circuits link back to the temples that celebrate them. The Journey Planner turns that structure into something practical — finding nearby temples, measuring straight-line distances and building a multi-stop plan.
How to read the numbers
Counts shown on the homepage (temples, countries, official websites, deities, circuits and festivals) are computed from the directory data itself and describe the current state of the listing.
